Lightroom was introduced to me through my photography mentor, Michelle Rainey. After we finished the black and white and macro photography workshops, Lightroom was what we worked with to finalize my work and make it exactly how I wanted my images to be.
Lightroom is very similar to the resource Photoshop, only it specializes in adjusting photography and refining images. Some of the available tools it offers are colour tinting, spot treating, adjusting the contrast, blackness, and whiteness levels, focusing, blurring, sharpening, and more. I used it for both my macro photography and my black and white photography to enhance, tweak, and modify the photos to what felt right to me. Based on adjusting even a small amount of tinting, the whole mood of the photo can be changed. A warmer tint can add a dreamy, cozy feeling, while a cooler tint can create a mysterious, quiet feeling. I experimented with my photos and tuned them to create different moods and feelings.
