The forest is filled with colour every season of the year – it just takes an observant eye to notice. In spring, soft buds and spruce-tips bring a green to the forest, and flowers pop up from the floor, adding blues and purples. Summer brings forth yellow arnica flowers, deep green leaves, wild strawberries, and fleshy mushrooms from the forest floor. Golden tamarack branches, pale cedar branches, bright amanitas, and dying leaves paint the mountains in vibrant colours. Winter provides soft grays, whites, and browns from trees and branches.
