Mount Baldy & Fairy Creek Falls

Posted on August 4, 2021February 6, 2025

On July 10th of this summer, my dad and I braved the Mount Baldy trail in Fernie, British Columbia. It was a trail full of adventure, amazing photo opportunities, and tunes whistled through the mountain air. Overall, the hike took four hours, two of which were climbing the mountain. We gained 624 metres of elevation! My photos, although mainly focused on the small scale, also feature the awesome view of the mountains from the summit of Mount Baldy.

My dad and I walked Fairy Creek Falls on June 11th. A relatively short, easy trail, Fairy Creek Falls offered mushrooms and plants for photos, and a cool, shaded forest. I have only a few photos from this area.

A special thanks to my dad for finding these hikes and being a great companion on them! It was a lot of fun.
