I love rain. Everything about it – the cozy, gray days, the misty clouds that hang around mountains, and the soothing calm it brings – makes me feel cozy, safe, and relaxed. Rain also brings colour to the forest, whether from lush green moss or newly puhpowee-d mushrooms. I want to honour and bring light to the beauty of rain, so here’s some photos that celebrate our not-so-sunny days.

Hazel, you have brilliantly captured so many properties of water, such as acting as a refractor, a magnifier, along with its cohesive and adhesive characteristics! The pictures of the beads of water in the spider web and on the 8 whorled leaf surfaces are breath taking!
