As November rolls in with a bustle of threatened flurries, incessant rain, and cold skies, beauty is all around us. Larch boughs turn golden and their needles collect raindrops; families of mushrooms sit under trees; ice encases leaves in a clear tomb. Even in the year’s second-last month, life is plentiful.
