Lupine Leaves (feat. Rain)

Lupines are beautiful, dainty flowers – clusters of folded purple petals stacked onto a stem that follows a sleek, triangular shape – and their leaves have much character as well. When a heavy rain falls and raindrops get caught in lupine leaves, that, I believe, is where magic can happen.

I feel I’ve come a long way since the lupine photos I took that inspired me in the first place:

  2. Hazel, I love your Lupine photos! I have some of Grandma Monie’s offspring and enjoy thinking of her as the plants burst through the earth each spring!
