Vote for July’s Photo of the Month

Posted on June 25, 2022January 30, 2025

Now July comes, swift and sure. Thunderstorms, heat, soaring hawks and vultures – it’s a time of fast growth before the true baking fever of late summer sets in. Flowers create a colourful palate on the land around us.

    I vote for the twin water drops. I think that was a hard picture to capture.

    Hi Hazel, a beautiful planet we have. I wonder if you could give me feedback (comments on what’s right, what’s wrong, your personal response, what the interface tells you) to this measure (link below) of our Canadian lifestyles in the Kootenays (better than the Canadian average). I believe in you !! :-) Les https://kootenayvillagechallenge.wordpress.com/

    Such depth! I love the simplicities and complexities captured in the bunchberry flower. That’s my vote, and Runner up is the gills. Thanks for sharing so much beautiful

    Hazel,

    What a blog. What a picture. To find out which one I vote for, solve the following equation:

    5x = 49 – 4(x + 10)

    Thanks!

    Thank you Hazel for reducing the number of choices to vote for! However, to choose one or more as a favorite in any of your collections takes Jeti consciousness (i.e., your beyond reason winning abilities in backgammon). After much inner debate and reassessment there is a slight edge towards Photo #2. As for being “twin” water droplets, they are definitely not identical twins as the details exhibit.
