The Evolution of My Photography – Part I

Photography, in a way, has always been part of my artistic expression. I’ve been taking photos of my surroundings for about five years now, though nowhere near as consistently as my photography outings these days.

I used a Nikon camera to occasionally capture neighbourhood birds or straying deer when I was younger, but it didn’t become a realized passion until one or two years ago. I’ve only been referring to myself as a photographer for maybe a year or two.

I feel my photography is ever-evolving, and I always like to go back and see where I’ve came from, where I’ve been, and where I am now. I’m planning to post a series on my photos for the next while, so stay tuned for more parts to this progression.

This post focuses on my earliest photography years. Most of it consists of animals – sparrows, deer, robins, the like. I enjoyed waking up early, screwing the telephoto lens on our camera, and slipping outside to capture the magical moments that only mornings can bring.
