For spring break this year, I flew to Vancouver to visit my grandparents and family there. (Many thanks again to my grandparents for flying me out there, and for hosting me!) During my stay, I was enveloped in intriguing new surroundings and characters: frisky squirrels, rainy days, bright leaves, colourful lights, impressive mountains, artistic graffiti, and so much more.
I looked for the “blackberries are everywhere” in the most magnified zoom, without seeing any. (LOL). Can you explain how you captured the “bright sun” and the water formation under the blackberry photo (amazing)? These pictures suggest your focus is still in the natural world, as only a few show any human structure, in a city environment.
By focusing on a bright area with my camera, it makes the rest of the photo silhouetted and dark and enhances the sun’s light coming through the trees. And the water splash photo was taken by focusing on a puddle and then taking a picture after a rock was thrown in.
Love this collection and loved having you visit!❤️
Thank you! <3
Beautiful pictures Hazel 😍 Thank you for spending part of you Spring Break with us.
Much appreciated <3
Wow, love the cedar-squirrel pictures and the sunlight through the trees, beautiful.
Thanks, Mom!
