I haven’t put a new post together for a month now – that time went by so quickly – and even in the few weeks that passed since my last post, so much has changed in the landscape where I live.
Spring flowers, brought by gentle evening rain and warm sunshine, decorate ditches, marshes, fields, driveways. Pollen drifts though the air, visible like dust in a sunbeam.
Where I was walking recently by Duck Lake, honeybees, painted turtles, herons, and snakes were enjoying the weather. I even came across a “breeding ball” (that’s an official term – I looked it up) of garter snakes hidden in tall grass by the road.

Neat shots of those snakes! I enjoyed seeing your photos from that walk <3
Thanks Mom <3

Obviously, the turtles have not heard of the movie “Don’t Look Up”.
Yet another witty observation of yours ;)
