The second half of my trip to Halifax was my favourite. Visiting Cape Breton and driving along the wild Cabot Trail was unlike anything I’d experienced before; even admiring the vast Gulf of St. Lawerence from the highway was enough to take my breath away. The first night at our campsite in a cozy little oTENTik, I got to watch the sun set over the Gulf in a fiery display of colour and laugh at seals watching me gravely in the playful waves. Simply magical. I’m excited to share these photos from this part of the trip, which include my absolute favourites.

Wow Trustin, i wish i knew 50 years ago i could have become a “professional” rock balancer! I had no idea such a profession existed. To think of all the money i should have earned over the course of my career as a geoscientist, in the rock balancer role.
You have truly captured the stunning beauty of the east coast. How wonderful for your to have had this experience.
