As my last year of high school comes to an end, I’m looking for more ways to build an audience and expand my creative pursuits into a career. One of the avenues that I’m exploring is publishing my work on Substack. I’m hoping that this will help me find more people interested in reading and subscribing to my work.
I’ve been working on creating my Substack space recently and am ready to share it now. So far, it’s very similar to my website in that it features my art, photography, and writing, with my brand Instinct & Intuition at the heart of it all. For content, I’m going to start out with publishing posts from my website onto Substack. My last post (Oh Deer: Working on Proportions) was recently added. I might also publish additional content there such as more writing and musings. If I gain enough of an audience, I’ll entertain the idea of asking for pledges and paid subscriptions in order for readers to access more of my work.
If you’re interested in looking at my Substack site, visit hazelraine.substack.com or click the image below. You’ll also be able to find an archive of my posts and a link to the site on the new page on my website titled “Substack”, which can be found in the navigation menu.
I’m excited to see how this goes and where it takes me! I’ll likely continue to work and build on what I’ve created already in the next few months. Stay tuned for updates, and if you have any questions or comments, please reach out through my Contact page.
Thanks for reading!
