Trish has now published her website as of September 2025 – check it out here to see her work and my photography!
I’ve been looking for more ways to use my passions and skills as potential career avenues, and one area I’ve been exploring is photoshoots. I really enjoyed the experience of working with Carl Les for his single cover, as well as going into my stepdad’s shop to explore the hidden worlds there. I love both learning and being creative; so far I’ve been able to learn so much and gain valuable experience while also leaning into my artistic tendencies when taking photos for others.
It just so happened that I got to try a photoshoot again with local tapestry artist Trish White, creator of the business Tangled Threads. She and I connected through a common acquaintance in early March. Her objective was to have photos taken for her soon-to-be-running website; we discussed the details of what she wanted and then set up a date for the shoot.
Taking photos of Trish’s creative and attractive tapestries was quite fun. I was able to both admire her art and exercise using my photography in a professional setting. I was grateful for the experience with this meeting, as well as the fact that Trish has asked me to continue photographing her art for her website as she works on more tapestries. Below is Trish’s logo, as well as some of the photos I took!

I am quite touched. Thanks so much for doing this, Hazel. Trish
